Human Brain Project one of the winning FET Flagship Programmes

Today vice-president of the European Commission Neelie Smit Kroes officially announced the two winning FET Flagship Programmes, that will be awarded up to 1 billion euros (half of which from matching funds) over a ten year period.
The winners are GRAPHENE and the Human Brain Project (HPB).
The HPB is a neuroinformatics project at its very heart, and we therefore expect that this will have a very positive impact on our community.
