INCF is entering an exciting new phase of growth and engagement with major international brain initiatives. INCF Executive Director, Sean Hill has recently been appointed to the faculty of the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland and will play a leading role in the Neuroinformatics subproject of the newly awarded Human Brain Project (HBP). INCF is therefore announcing a reorganization at the secretariat to prepare for sustained growth and engagement with the global neuroscience community – including national and international large-scale brain initiatives.

The INCF governing board has approved the creation of a new position – that of Scientific Director, who will be responsible for scientific outreach and developing international collaborations and projects. This position is permanent and will report directly to the governing board. Sean Hill will assume this role when his replacement has been successfully recruited.

INCF is therefore seeking a new Executive Director to lead the organization in this new phase of development. The Executive Director will manage the INCF Secretariat staff of 15 persons, and develop and manage key administrative and business supporting structures and functions of the INCF Secretariat. The Executive Director will also work closely with the Scientific Director to develop and implement INCF strategic plans.
